There is a car in front of apartment building 9 on campus, the building in which Andrew, Gary, and Phillip live. This car has four flat tires, and a small scandalous story behind it. Apparently, the man who owns the car is (or was) cheating on his wife, and some kind of drama broke out that ended with the mistress (concubine?) slashing the tires of the car. It's been there for a weeks now, and doesn't seem to be going anywhere.On a separate occasion, a Chinese woman said to a foreign teacher, "it must be hard for Chinese women who marry foreign men, because they cheat on their wives".
